Myself and Tom Kent had an early morning start on the last Saturday in May 2014, after a week of rain, on an nice,
calm, warm, over cast day, we headed for Frisby on Jasons Lake for our day session.
I set up my sleeper rod with the method rig attached using sweetcorn and chick peas. also a simple float rod,
baited with prawns for the margins.
A

caught one before was a real result. A Mirror which came in at 10lb 12oz, my fish of the day, and a
fair few more on the method.
On the float I had a mix bag of Carp, Perch, Roach and two Tench which I was well pleased to see!!
Tom Kent decided to go to try a bit of stalking so I joined him. It produced a Leather Carp over 8lb for
me and one of my Tench.
I'm glad to be back on form, a great days fishing.

rod to hand on the best day so far this year sun high in sky, landed
this Bream at 3lb 3oz at distance at Hill
Farm, Frolesworth, after cleaning up
five Carp earlier in the day, three of
them over 5lb within 15 minutes!! Then, later, two slightly bigger. After going the rest of the morning without anything I moved swims and
began to bag up same tactics as previously.
The Carp (above) was caught
at Hill Farm, Frolesworth. Just over 9lb but had the fight of a double! Tackled up feeder rod small feeder
