Cost Cutter Match 16/1/25 This week's cost cutter match was held on a bitterly cold, iced up Colver lake (silver fish only). Not surprising weights were low. Mick Norton and Mick Farmery came joint first with 6lb 3oz, and third was Chris Shore with 6lb. Next week's match will be on Smiggies, conditions permitting. Pike Match Cancelled Due to the current freezing weather the Sunday 12th January Match has been cancelled. The Match has been re-arranged for next week 19/1/25 when, hopefully the weather will have improved. Cost Cutter Match 8/1/25 This week's cost cutter match was held on a bitterly cold Colver lake (silvers only). The ice was that thick we could only fish a quarter of the way across, and even that proved difficult to clear. As you can imagine the fishing was rock hard. Mick Farmery came out on top with 10lb 8oz, followed by myself with 5lb 8oz and third Steve Lee with 4lb 5oz. Next week's match will be on Smiggies.
