Water levels were high and road side swims of Jurassic were under a foot of water, so most of us fished the field swims.

Tom on the other hand sat back from the flooded car park swim of Jurassic and made a good call. With the first Fish at 7lb 3oz and then a impressive 13lb 4oz and continued throughout the match with fish of 5lb 11oz and 2lb 1oz for a grand total of 28lb 3oz and Tom’s 13lb 4oz was his Jurassic lake pb so he was well chuffed with his win.

Dave had a late 7lb 1oz’er

Pete Felstead enjoyed the day with plenty of action but only made two stick on lures. One at 4lb 6oz and one at 8lb 6oz for 12lb 12oz total. Fishing a lake that wasn’t colour like Jurassic Pete must have had 7 takes and 3 on, and then off!! One while chatting with Jason that took like a train and just kept going on a 15ft run that just pulled on the clutch before he could stop it. It had me in some margin snag and was off!

The rain actually stayed off till after the match that’s a bonus.

So there we have it. Tom’s day, with it being his birthday the next day someone had sorted his presents early!
