This week’s cost cutter match was held on Smiggies lake. Weights were a little better than of late, with several Tench and a nice Crucian being caught. Notably Rob Smith landed a 16-18lb Carp on a 20s hook and 0.11 bottom.
Den Porter again won the day with 12lb 2oz, second Steve Lee with 10lb 8oz. Third and first section winner was shared between Mick Nash and Rob Smith both with 8lb 12oz, and second section won by Alan Smith with 3lb 13oz. 13 fished.
