The Chairman, Alan Smith, has asked me to let members know that Colver Lake is going to have a “Hard Standing” path about 1.5meters wide installed around the whole lake. This is going to be started in the very near future, (either Monday 1st June or the following week depending on the contractor finishing his current contracts) We have asked if he can do one side at a time so that Members will be able to carry on fishing on one side of the lake whilst the work is ongoing. But there will be obvious disruption to some extent so please be patient. We have been told that the work should take around seven days or so to complete.
Futhermore we are asking Members not to use the first small car park opposite Sanctuary, as the contactor will need access so that he can store the spoil on the ground behind it.
