After the work party on Meadow Lane today (5/5/12), I stayed on to fish with my
dad. It was the usual hard going session!! After numerous sessions the only fish I've caught has been a
12lb pike! so expected to blank as usual. After trying a few different tactics I noticed a lot of Carp
surfacing and spent a few hours frustrated at the near takes off the top. Our friend, Dave, turned up to see how we
were doing just in time to see me finally get a take by this 17lb 12 oz leather about an hour before the session
end...
A Fin perfect Barbel, tipping
the scales at 4lb. caught by David on Jasons Lake.
A lovely green Tench weighing in at 3lb, again from Jasons
Lake.
Another stunning Tench from Jasons Lake. This beauty weighing 4lb
2oz.
