I would like to take this opportunity in thanking some of the parents who helped out, the Charnwood staff who helped out at the crucial times as well getting in a bit of fishing themselves and lastly the helpers.

The main helpers were Brian Toon, John Frankland, Terry Branston, Peter Hyden, Mick Farmery and my better half Darna.

I apologise to anyone I have forgot, or to anyone for whom I have spelt their names wrong; but I felt it was important to praise these unsung heroes. They all gave up their valuable time to attend a few hours to organise and show the children how to catch fish.

I just wish that we had a few more helpers attending.... Perhaps next week hopefully....
