BJ's Lake

BJ's Lake is onthe left hand side of the complex and is reached by turning left through the gate at the end of the left hand car park.  The road go's right upto the lake and carrys on round to Smiggy's Lake. This Lake holds a good head of Bream and Tench with plenty of smaller silver fish with the occasional decent Carp to give a little fun to a days fishing.

What's in a Name?

BJ's Lake was once known as the 'Left Hand Lake' and was renamed BJ's in recognition of all the work the water officers at the time had done for the club. Brian Toon and John Frankland. This lake always has, and always will be, a favourite lake for all the serious Bream and Tench fisherman in the club, with Bream going upto 7lb and Tench reported to be almost double figured.
