This week’s cost cutter match was held on Colver lake (silvers only). Unfortunately the carp decided to go on a feeding frenzy, which severely affected the overall weights. Alan Smith personally hooked 19 carp and landed 15.
Not only did it take time to land the fish on light tackle, but it adversely affected the swims for a while afterwards. Anyway result as follows, winner Dave Montgomery with 8lb 13oz, second Chris Shore with 8lb 10 oz and third Mick Norton with 7lb 7oz. 9 fished
Next weeks match is on Smiggies.
