This week’s cost cutter match was held on a windswept Smiggies lake. Conditions made fishing the long pole extremely difficult.
Steve Lee handled the conditions well and won with 19lb 8oz. Andy Foster came second with 8lb 3oz and third Dave Montgomery with 7lb 15oz. First section was won by Dave Kimber with 6lb 8oz and second section Sean Livingston with 7lb 8oz. 16 fished.
Next week’s match is on Colver. Any carp caught will count as 8oz so 2 nets will be needed.
