The large one
is probably 17 to 18lbs which was caught on a 12 elastic, 3 1/2 lbs hook length on a size 18 hook. Didn't have a
bite for 2 hours (February 1st). All of a sudden, the carp showed up!
Fishing on
Colver near side to carpark midway down on right hand side.

A Crucian I caught on Sanctuary a couple
of weeks ago. Did not weigh it, I'd put it around 1lb 12oz.

Here is a picture of a 13lb 10oz carp I caught
recently from BJ's. I had bought a 8.5metre Preston Monsta puller pole and was trying it out for the first time.
Using a 10 elastic with a 4lb hooklength and a size 20 hook loaded with double fluro pinkie. Anyway with a bit
of help from Jim landing it (net not big enough) I finally managed to land the fish.
