Jurassic Lake
This is the home
of our specimens and is located at the far end of the Frisby Complex. Two fishable sides
to the lake offer, on one side, nice clear large swims, enough room for all your 'Bivvie' needs and on the
other side a selection of platform swims for the 'short stay' angler, although you may find room on a couple
of these swims for a bivvie.
What's in a Name?
Jurassic was called this from the first week we acquired the complex. If you ever visit the lakes in
the early hours of the morning (dawn), the lake would have a mist rising just like in the film 'Jurassic
Park' it was very eerie to say the least. You could also fish this lake in the middle of the summer and have
to put on a coat because it felt 'cold' but this has since gone after the large swims were put in. The name
also runs hand in hand with the size of the fish in here.
