Tough Going at Meadow Lane

It seems that although the Ice has gone, for the time being, and the temperatures have been in double figures for the past week or so; the fish have not really responded all that well as yet....This goes for the Pikers as well. Todays match on Meadow Lane produced just one fish, a 7lb 8oz Pike, which fell to Derek Cramp. It was a difficult day with a strong winds making bait presentation non to easy! Mick Geary hooked and lost a Pike and Pete Felsted hooked two small Jacks on his spinning tackle but sadly lost them both.
