With the match split between the two lakes it was, for a change, Jason's which faired the best. Jason Farmery having a fine day netting about fifteen skimmers and four Carp to take top place with a weight of 33lb 15oz. Fishing Long Pole on his favourite peg 19. Catching a couple of Skimmers early on it wasn't long before his first carp was in the net. Jay carried on catching steadily until the last hour when it went a bit quite.

Second placed Mick Nash gave Jason a run for his money though, netting three Carp from peg 4 in the first hour gave Mick a lead that looked pretty unbeatable considering the conditions. After a couple of lost fish Mick landed two more to give him 33lb 4oz including two that were pushing double figures.

Mick Farmery lost an early fish on peg 7 but landed a lump weighing 8lb 11oz to win him the Section 1 prize. Section 2 going to Steve Beckhurst who had a good days fishing with fourteen Skimmers from peg 10 for 13lb

Over on Colver the story was very different with not one Carp landed from any of the pegs used. It was Vinnie Logie who decided early on that silver fish was the best option. It turned out to be a good choice as with 4lb 8oz Vinnie won the lake comfortably from peg 46.

Next peg Den Porter on 43, never one to miss a trick , Switched to a silvers approach later on and it gave him the runner-up spot on Colver with 2lb.

There is not a lot more to say from Colver!! Other than Paul Edwards need just 7oz to take Section 1 from peg 23 and Steve Harrison's 4oz was enough for a Section 2 win.
