Jason keeps the Run

After five rounds of the Winter League complete it was a familiar face on top of the leader board with Jason Farmery winning the fourth match of the five fished!! Jason drawn on peg 9 caught fish from the off with a succession of Carp from over at the far bank in the first half hour or so. It was switch to the inside margin, though, that paid dividends. Fishing with 6mm pellet Jay started netting some better Carp and finished well out in front with 61lb 6oz.

Second place was a bit closer with three anglers within a couple of pounds of each other. Gavin Norton came out on top of the three with 43lb 11oz from peg 28. Gavin switched between the far bank, the middle of the lake and also the margins and took fish from all area's, again pellet was the successful bait.

Mark Akiens drew his usual peg, 21,  and after a slowish start started to put a few fish together. It was a pretty close run thing in the end with Mark just behind Gavin. Mark had to settle for the third place prize with 41lb 2oz.

Phil Sansby took Section 1 from peg 1 with 41lb. Section 2 going to Vinnie Logie who netted 32lb 8oz from peg 15. Paul Edwards taking the third Section prize with 36lb 8oz from peg 31.
